Huye District is famous for its Mount Huye which stands visibly from almost all the corners of the district. This natural feature is also famous for being source of Rwanda's finest mineral water that flows from the rock base of the mountain. This God given water reservoir is so fine and pure that it has become the citizens' most trusted source of drinking water. At the foot of the mountain is a factory that taps this water and with limited preservatives, bottles it for sale on the Rwandan market.
